1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting, registering on, or submitting content to any journal website operated by Academician Studies Group, a brand of International Academic Studies Association (Tur. Uluslararası Akademik Çalışmalar Derneği), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. These documents together constitute the entire agreement between you and Academician Studies Group regarding your use of our services.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our platforms after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
Our journal websites are intended for researchers, academics, students, and professionals. You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or submit content.
2.1. Account Responsibilities
When you register an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities conducted under your account
Academician Studies Group reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in bad faith.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
3.1. Website Content
All content on our journal websites, including but not limited to text, logos, design elements, databases, and software, is the property of Academician Studies Group or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and database laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
3.2. Published Articles
Upon acceptance of a manuscript, authors grant Academician Studies Group a licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, and index the work in accordance with the licence terms specified for each journal (e.g., Creative Commons or exclusive licence). Licence terms are clearly stated on the submission page of each journal.
3.3. Open Access Articles
Articles published under open access licences (such as CC BY 4.0) may be freely shared and adapted in accordance with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons licence. Appropriate credit must always be given to the original authors and source publication.
3.4. Author Warranties
By submitting a manuscript, you warrant that:
- The work is original and has not been published previously in substantially the same form
- The work is not under consideration for publication elsewhere
- All co-authors have approved the submission and agree to its terms
- Necessary permissions have been obtained for any third-party material included
- The work does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
4. Submission and Publication Policies
4.1. Peer Review
All submitted manuscripts are subject to the editorial and peer review processes described on each journal’s website. Editorial decisions are final. We do not guarantee publication of any submitted manuscript.
4.2. Research and Publication Ethics
Academician Studies Group journals adhere to the ethical standards set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to comply with these standards. Suspected misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, or undisclosed conflicts of interest, will be investigated and may result in retraction, correction, or account suspension.
4.3. Article Processing Charges
Where article processing charges (APCs) apply, these will be clearly disclosed on the journal’s website prior to submission. Payment obligations are set out in a separate fee schedule and are non-refundable once an article has been accepted and processed for publication, except where we have materially failed to deliver the agreed services.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use our platforms to:
- Submit content that is fraudulent, plagiarized, or fabricated
- Impersonate another person, researcher, or institution
- Engage in unauthorised data scraping, crawling, or automated data extraction
- Transmit malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm our systems
- Circumvent any technical security measures
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Harass, threaten, or abuse editors, reviewers, or other users
IMPORTANT: Any use of our platforms for systematic or automated text and data mining (TDM) requires a separate written licence from Academician Studies Group, except where expressly permitted under applicable law.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
Our websites may contain links to third-party websites, databases, and repositories (e.g., PubMed, Scopus, DOAJ). These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service. Your use of such services is at your own risk and subject to their respective terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our platforms are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Academician Studies Group disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Published articles reflect the views of the respective authors and do not represent the opinions or policies of Academician Studies Group.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Academician Studies Group and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our platforms or content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater, if applicable.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Academician Studies Group and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our platforms, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Batman, Turkey, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
11. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
